Postponed poll update

There are two more ward in which a candidate has died, forcing the postponement of the local elections due on 1 May.

• Flintshire county council: Hope division. Stuart Brown, who was an Independent candidate, has died.

• Newport city council: Bettws ward. Incumbent Labour councillor Edward Delahaye has died.
